VIDEO: One Nonprofit is Filling Thousands of Backpacks in Flint, Michigan

An inspiring story from our August Nonprofit of the Month

Our August Nonprofit of the Month, Pack Your Back, was started by college students at Central Michigan University in 2016 as a response to the water crisis in Flint. The organization collects funds, clean water, and school supplies to donate to children in need in Flint and beyond.

This summer the organization had a ton of fundraising success with their back to school campaign, raising funds to help fill 15,000 backpacks with school supplies for students in Flint.
